Happy New Year from all of us at Pied Piper Preschool and Welcome to all of our new children who have started this term. Some of us may be feeling the January blues- but here at the Preschool we have so many wonderful activities planned for this term.
Our topic for this Term is Winter and we will be learning lots about the season; as well as winter animals, winter activities and winter around the world. What better introduction to our new topic than our very own snow day on the first day back! Already we have been sledging, making snowmen, melting ice and snowballs, talking about polar bears and even ice- skating!

At our last inspection in 2021, we were graded Good by Ofsted. We have an excellent reputation within the local community and parents whose children have attended regularly recommend us.
“Children are happy at the Pre-school and demonstrate that they feel safe and secure through their positive attitudes towards learning”- Ofsted

Our full Ofsted report is available to view and download by clicking on the Information option in the navigation bar.

Our long standing, dedicated and caring team of staff provide a fun environment that supports children’s learning and development.
We are very proud to have an extremely experienced team of staff- who are all commited to the progress of every child in our care. All of our team have Qualified at NVQ Level 3 or higher; plus hold years of experience both here at Pied Piper and in other child care settings: including SEN.
“Staff foster a nurturing atmosphere that is focused on building children’s confidence and self-care skills, in readiness for school”- Ofsted.

Here at Pied Piper we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). Children are well supported through a range of activities and routines that support all 7 areas of their learning and development.

Our goal is to support each child as an individual- to help them develop the skills, independence and confidence needed for their transition into school.
