Pied Piper Preschool prides itself on being the longest serving Preschool in Thatcham. First opening its doors to local families back in 1986 and ready to celebrate its 40th Birthday next year! Over the years it has become a pillar of the local community and contributed to the development of hundreds of children.
Thanks to the love and support of our wonderful team of staff and the families that attend- Pied Piper continues to thrive through the years.

At our last inspection in 2021, we were graded Good by Ofsted. We have an excellent reputation within the local community and parents whose children have attended regularly recommend us.

Our long standing, dedicated and caring team of staff provide a fun environment that supports children’s learning and development.
We are very proud to have an extremely experienced team of staff- who are all commited to the progress of every child in our care. All of our team have Qualified at NVQ Level 3 or higher; plus hold years of experience both here at Pied Piper and in other child care settings: including SEN.

Here at Pied Piper we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS). Children are well supported through a range of activities and routines that support all 7 areas of their learning and development.
Our goal is to support each child as an individual- to help them develop the skills, independence and confidence needed for their transition into school.
